Head to the Carnival field for fantastic homemade cakes and delicious street food or call in to the Church for their famous cream teas. 


You'll find the perfect pint and the perfect spot to watch the parade go by at both The Tickled Trout and The Peacock.

The Tickled Trout

The Tickled Trout prides itself on serving great pub food alongside innovative specials using the highest quality artisan ingredients available. 


The award winning gastro pub serves both fine wine and great local ales and combines a relaxing atmosphere with excellent customer service. 


The Blessing of the Wells procession concludes at the Tickled Trout and being the first pub on the Carnival parade route you are sure of a fantastic atmosphere.

The Peacock at Barlow

With a superb range of local beers (from their onsite brewery!), wonderful wines, artisan spirits and food crafted from quality products many sourced locally you are sure of a fantastic experience when visiting the Peacock at Barlow. 


Uncomplicated, patriotic comfort food is their games and the chefs strive to ensure simple is always sensational!


With a fantastic outdoor seating area it is one of the best seats in the village to watch the parade go by, you're sure of a fantastic atmosphere, food and drink at the Peacock. 



Hackney House Gifts & Café 


Located next to St Lawrence Church and opposite the Main Well, Hackney House is reputed to be one of the oldest tea tooms in the county. 


Serving a variety of soups, sandwiches, pies, salads, panini's all freshly made on the premises. 


Right on the parade route it is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before joining in the fun!
