The ancient Derbyshire custom of Well Dressing is brought to life in Barlow with 3 Wells being dressed to coincide with the Carnival
Each Dressing depicts a different scene, teams of skilled 'dressers' with varying techniques produce fantastic pictures made up of flowers, seeds, grasses (anything that grows really!)

Dressed around the original village pump (opposite Hackney House Café) and usually depicts an anniversary or biblical scene
Also known locally at the Children's Well and celebrated it's 100th anniversary in 2015. Situated next to the Chapel.
Usually on a religious theme, the Commonside Well is situated on the Village Green opposite the Tickled Trout Pub
